Mark Ridleys Comedy Castle Started in the basement of The Meating Place in January 1979, Mark Ridleys Comedy Castle hit it off right away.
With open mike talent like Tim Allen and Dave Coulier, all 90 seats were filled most of the time. As the demand grew Ridley moved the Comedy Castle to several larger venues to meet those demands until its present location which opened in January 1990.
Throughout the years, comedians on the rise have played the stage of the Comedy Castle. Tim Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Rosie ODonnell, Jim Carrey, Drew Carey, Garry Shandling, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Jay Leno are just a few of the established comedians who have performed there since 1979.
